This 10x24 is one of our Extreme Rectangle sizes in the 125 Extended Domino. Tahoe is 10 oz. raw 14.6 oz. finished heavy cotton sized and triple primed with archival quality acrylic gesso impervious to paints leaching through and harming the fabric. Tahoe has a heavy body and slightly smoother texture. Suitable for oils acrylics and alkyds. It has a uniform texture and a medium tooth which is easy on your brushes. The heavier weight and extra primer coat make Tahoe robust for larger sizes and more aggresive painting techniques. There is a 516 gap between the canvas and frame eliminating the unwanted lines that occur when the gap is less. We never use finger joints in our wood frames which often fail under tension and over time - the glue joints give up and are unsuitable for paintings intended to last for centuries.
